Puppy 1:1
The puppy 1:1 is a 90-minute home visit. Rather than practicing in a neutral space and hoping the learning transfers into the home environment, we can address things exactly where they happen. It is also possible to do training both in the home and outside, depending on the issue and where it presents itself.
The first few weeks and months of a puppy's life are the most formative, with the habits, associations, and patterns they learn during this period (both the good and the not so helpful) tend to stick. A puppy 1: 1 takes advantage of your puppy's malleable nature and is an opportunity to get things moving in the right direction before patterns become ingrained and before small niggles become bigger problems.
In the lead-up to our session, you will be asked to complete a short puppy intake form, which will provide me with the context I need to arrive prepare. This will include things like your puppy's background, daily routine, and what you would most like help with. This is to ensure our time together is spent doing, rather than discussing
On the day, we will work though all your specific concerns, whether that be lead manners, jumping up, mouthing and biting, toilet training, recall, or anything else that has been on your mind. I will observe how your puppy responds, explain what is motivating/driving the behaviour, and demonstrate practical training and management protocols you can start implementing immediately.

Travel within 10 miles is included. For appointments beyond 10 miles, a travel fee of 45p per mile applies to the additional distance. Your exact travel charge will be confirmed at the time of booking.
